Professionalism
As CIS’ters has evolved from the self-help group that began in September 1995, it has also developed a corresponding level of professionalism in the way that it operates and delivers services that seek to empower survivors.
CIS’ters was one of the five founding organisations that established The Survivors Trust, to provide a national collective voice for specialist organisations in the sexual abuse/violence sector providing services for victim/survivors. CIS’ters continues to remain an organisational member of The Survivors Trust and both promotes and adheres to the National Standards established by The Survivors Trust.
